FlowWest is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Michael MacWilliams PhD, PE to our team as a partner and Principal Engineer. Dr. MacWilliams expands FlowWest’s capabilities into new areas including three-dimensional hydrodynamic and sediment transport modeling, sea level rise planning, and coastal and marsh restoration. He will extend FlowWest’s reach in San Francisco Bay and the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta with new capabilities and clients.
FlowWest participated in the MESA STEM Industry Collaboration Day at Sacramento City College yesterday. SCC MESA (Math, Engineering, Science Achievement Program) is an equity-focused program that supports students who come from historically underrepresented backgrounds to pursue STEM careers. Julius Ratemo, EIT represented the firm at the event and engaged with the bright minds currently enrolled and alumni of the program.
Our Staff Web Developer, Willie Whitfield, performed with Team DRC on The Basketball Tournament on ESPN last week. The team and players were selected at a very high level and we are proud of our employee for competing and giving it his all!
