Committed to fostering transparency and collaboration, the Klamath Tribes strive to make their comprehensive water quality dataset accessible to the restoration and management community, as well as the public. This dataset plays a crucial role in environmental and restoration management in the region.

Integrated Water Quality Platforms
FlowWest has collaborated closely with the Klamath Tribes on a project that enhances their extensive water quality database and integrates it with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Data Exchange system, also known as EPA WQX. This partnership, built on years of collaboration, has resulted in the development of both an internal desktop application and a web application to facilitate data management and access. Our team leveraged a deep understanding of the Tribes' existing water quality database to develop software tailored to transform their data in alignment with EPA WQX format.

Resources for All
This platform facilitates efficient and collaborative data sharing and analysis among partners dedicated to enhancing the health of the basin. Through our work with the Klamath Tribes, the tribe is able independently manage and upload their water quality data to a public portal (WQX) and easily share their work (reports, publications, data) with external groups and interested stakeholders.
